Siemens SOMATOM go.All CT scanner installed at National TB Hospital, Manzini.
AVOMA Group delivered and installed a Siemens SOMATOM go.All CT scanner at National TB Hospital in Manzini, Eswatini. The project brought together a specialist imaging system and the local work needed to put that equipment in place within the hospital.
Computed tomography creates detailed cross-sectional images of the body. These images help trained clinicians assess internal anatomy and can inform diagnosis and treatment planning. The scanner is one part of the wider imaging service, alongside the people, clinical protocols and facilities that support its use.
The SOMATOM go.All platform is designed for routine CT examinations, with options for more advanced applications. Siemens Healthineers describes guided workflows that support examination preparation, scanning and image reconstruction, together with a 70 cm scanner opening.
That combination places attention on both image acquisition and the radiographer’s workflow. Available applications and features depend on the selected system configuration. Explore the SOMATOM go.All platform ↗
